4.8. SMALL OCCUPATIONAL GROUP
“323 Specialists in alternative and complementary medicine”
and INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL GROUP
“3230 Specialists in alternative and complementary medicine”
422. Employees of small group “323 Specialists in alternative and complementary medicine” and individual group “3230 Specialists in alternative and complementary medicine” occupations are engaged in the prevention and treatment of human diseases, disorders and injuries by the use of herbal preparations, yoga and other methods and principles based on knowledge of different cultural traditions and methods.
423. Basic qualification requirements of small group “323 Specialists in alternative and complementary medicine” and individual group “3230 Specialists in alternative and complementary medicine” occupations:
423.1. knowledge: theoretical and practical foundations required for the performance of basic tasks; methods and techniques of analysis and synthesis; principles of operation and rules of use of work equipment, sequence of interconnected treatment processes, their rational organization; industry terminology; industry-related legislation and standards, requirements of labor and environmental protection legislation; norms of legal employment relations; basic principles of professional ethics and norms of conduct.
423.2. skills: to use theoretical knowledge in practice and to continuously improve the knowledge; to use information technologies, to self-educate, to improve professional skills and abilities;
423.3. responsibility: responsible for the results of their professional activity; for the course and results of the assigned care work; for the decisions made by them; for the assigned work means and objects, for the safety of other persons affected by their work; for complying with labor protection instructions and work discipline;
423.4. education: higher education or secondary vocational education.
424. Occupations and corresponding basic tasks of individual group”3230 Specialists in alternative and complementary medicine”: 

– to examine patients, determine the nature of the illness or complaint and the necessary treatment; to treat diseases and injuries using natural remedies (e.g. plants, insects, animal extracts) and other folk remedies stimulating functions of the body; to heal and help, to promote the processes of recovery and improvement of psychophysical condition using yoga therapy methods, to give individual and group yoga classes, to teach how to perform yoga exercises, how to use relaxation and visualization techniques, meditation, breathing exercises and self-massage techniques to improve and strengthen general physical and mental condition; to advise on the choice of yoga diet, the choice of massage and self-massage oils and other preparations, the performance of self-massage and other issues related to the improvement and strengthening of the psychophysical state; refer patients and consult other healthcare professionals.

  1. Employees of small occupational group “516 Employees in the field of other individual services” serve customers, amuse, perform duties of servants, provide funeral services.
  2. Occupations in small group “516 Employees in the field of other individual services” shall be classified as follows:

675.1. individual group “5161 Astrologers, fortune tellers and employees in related occupations”

675.2. individual group “5162 Companions and butlers “

675.3. individual group “5163 Employees of funeral services”

675.4. individual group “5164 Pet caretakers and employees engaged in animal care”

675.5. individual group “5165 Driving instructors”

  1. Basic qualification requirements of small group “516 Employees in the field of other individual services” and individual group occupations listed under Article 675 of the Classification:

6.6.1. INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL GROUP

“5161 Astrologers, fortune tellers and employees in related occupations”

  1. Employees of individual group “5161 Astrologers, fortune tellers and employees in related occupations” compile horoscopes for clients where they explain the past events of the clients and predict their future with astrological and similar methods, explain past events and predict the future according to the client’s palm lines, cards and other methods, heal physical and mental weakness with mental influence, inspiration, biocurrents and biofields.
  2. Occupations and corresponding basic tasks of individual group “5161 Astrologers, fortune tellers and employees in related occupations”:
– compile horoscopes for clients, providing information about their past and future; determine the most appropriate time for different types of activity; study the influence of constellations and stars on the client’s life; give advice on the use of appropriate means of protection; decipher the meaning of the client’s palm lines; interpret the meaning of the cards drawn by the client, the placement of tea leaves or coffee grains in the cup etc. and to anticipate future events based on this interpretation; warn the customer of imminent danger and give advice on the desired action; heal mental and physical weakness with inspiration, spiritual influence, prayers, biocurrents, biofield; advise population and individuals on appropriate conduct, strengthening confidence in successful healing; train to perceive the world structure as a whole; adjust and harmonize the structure of the human energy field.

How do I obtain a WPHPL Healer or Psychic Certificate?

1. Write an application (on a special WPHPL form) expressing your desire to
join the World Professional Healers and Psychics League (WPHPL).
2. Collect 20 (twenty) positive testimonials (on a special WPHPL form) from
people you've helped. This is a one-time activity that must be completed in
preparation for receiving the WPHPL Certificate for 1 (one) year.
3. Write a statement (on a special WPHPL form) expressing your desire to
receive the WPHPL Certificate.
4. When applying to WPHPL, you must submit a copy of your passport and/or
ID card, a copy of your educational documents, a description of the healing
method (-s) used in your work (computer-printed in A4 format, 1-2 pages).
5. If you have completed healing (or healing-related) schools, seminars,
courses, then it is advisable to submit copies of graduation documents
from these schools.
6. When applying for a WPHPL Certificate, you must provide a License of
Mental Health. If you have a Driver's Certificate, a Licence of Mental
Health is not required.
7. If you have been published in any magazines or newspapers, it is
advisable to attach copies of these publications to your documents.
8. When joining the WPHPL, the following payments must be made: a) entry
fee – €25; b) annual membership fee – €70; c) for the first time, the Healer
or Psychic Certificate is issued for 1 (one) year (€110 + €25); d) later – for
3 (three) years (€140 + €25); e) and then – for 5 (five) years (€215 + €25).
9. If you have a medical or any other higher education, a Healer Certificate is
issued based on the regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic
of Latvia of May 23, 2017: No. 264 “Regulations on the Classification of
Professions, Basic Tasks Appropriate to the Profession and Basic
Qualification Requirements”, Latvijas Vēstnesis, 104, 29.05.2017. The
professions of this small group are classified into separate groups: 3241
Healers.
10. If you do not have a medical or higher education, a Psychic Certificate is
issued based on the Cabinet of Ministers Regulations of May 23, 2017: No.
264 “Regulations on the Classification of Professions, Basic Tasks
Appropriate to the Profession and Basic Qualification Requirements”,
Latvijas Vēstnesis, 104, 29.05.2017. This small group of professions is
classified into separate groups: 3242 Psychics.
11. The Certification Commission meets regularly 4 times a year (usually in
February, May, August and November). In some cases, the Commission
also carries out its work at other times. Usually, interviews with candidates
take place in person, but it is also possible to do this remotely, as
specialists from different parts of our world contact us.
